Inktober 2023
Cette année marque ma quatrième participation consécutive à l’Inktober. Pour cette édition, j’ai choisi de revenir à l’essence même du challenge en créant une série d’illustrations exclusivement à l’encre noire. Ce retour aux sources m’a permis d’explorer une nouvelle facette de mon style.
Après avoir opter pour un challenge digital l’année précédente, où j’ai pu plonger dans l’univers de l’illustration graphique en mettant l’accent sur les textures, j’ai ressenti le besoin de retrouver l’authenticité du papier sous mes doigts. Armée d’un simple Brush Pen Sakura et de quelques feutres Tombow pour les ombrages, j’ai décidé de revenir à des techniques plus traditionnelles. Cette décision a été libératrice. Elle m’a permis de me reconnecter à mon imaginaire et de redécouvrir le charme épuré du dessin en noir et blanc.
Je suis ravie de partager avec vous le résultat de ce mois d’octobre dédié à l’encre. Chaque trait, chaque ombre, raconte une histoire que j’espère sincèrement vous transmettre. This year marks my fourth consecutive participation in Inktober. For this edition, I chose to return to the very essence of the challenge by creating a series of illustrations exclusively in black ink. This return to the roots allowed me to explore a new facet of my style.
After opting for a digital challenge last year, where I delved into the world of graphic illustration with a focus on textures, I felt the need to rediscover the authenticity of paper beneath my fingertips. Armed with a simple Sakura Brush Pen and a few Tombow markers for shading, I decided to embrace more traditional techniques. This decision was liberating, enabling me to reconnect with my imagination and rediscover the pure charm of black and white drawing.
I am thrilled to share with you the result of this October dedicated to ink. Each stroke, each shadow, tells a story that I sincerely hope to convey to you. Thank you for accompanying me on this fourth adventure at the heart of Inktober, an experience that, I hope, will captivate you as much as it has inspired me.
